Jessica Lee is a surface pattern designer based in Northern California, working primarily in watercolor. Her collections draw from the natural world and aim to evoke joy, harmony, peace, and wonder. Each design begins as a hand-painted original, then moves into the digital studio to be built out into cohesive collections of illustrations, repeat patterns, motifs, and coordinating supporting elements. She works in the space between fine art and commercial design, creating pieces that carry the character of a painting while earning a place in everyday living spaces.
